Depending on the chosen trip, the cancellation fee may vary. Send us an email or call us as soon as possible if there are any modifications to your journey (and make sure you receive a confirmation from us 🙂 ).

HOW TO REACH THE TOURS

The easiest way to visit Romania is by plane, as there are direct flights from (almost) anywhere in Europe. The main airport and closest to us is Bucharest Henri Coanda (a.k.a Bucharest Otopeni airport). Depending on your time, budget and preferences, you can take a bus from the airport or rent a car in advance. There are 140 km drive to Brasov, and it can take up to two hours and a half in the week time, but please bear in mind that the traffic is heavier on the weekends, so take into account even more time.

WHERE TO STAY

There is a wide variety of accommodation in and around Brasov, ranging from cosy guest-houses and AirBnB to 5* hotels. If you visit Brasov and need some help with accommodation, feel free to contact us with more details.  

WHAT TO BRING ON THE BEAR VIEWING TRIP

Bears have a very sensitive smell so please don’t bring any kind of food or snacks. Also, please don’t use perfume or other scents.
Dress adequately. Wear sturdy shoes and don’t wear brights colors.
OK, but what to bring? Well, depending on the weather, take a jacket, since it might get chilly in the evening, in the forest.  And definitely take your photo camera, an empty memory card and, if you have, a good telephoto lens.  Once in Brasov, we will pick you up from your accommodation or, if you have a car we can give you the meeting point and meet near the bear viewing place.

AS A SOLO TRAVELER, CAN I JOIN YOUR TOURS?

Yes, we love solo travelers! Many of our guests come on their own. With us you will be part of a small group of wildlife loving people.
